The Intramural Sports Staff is comprised of professional staff, interns, undergraduate students, and practicum students. The Director of Campus Recreation is ultimately responsible for the program with the Coordinator of Recreational Sports and the Coordinator of Recreational Programming overseeing the day to day operations of intramurals, club sports, and outdoor adventures. Additional support is provided by the full-time Co-Op Recreation Interns, and by student employees in positions such as supervisors, officials, and scorekeepers. The Intramural Sports program also provides opportunities for quality learning experiences through student internships, practicum, and volunteer hours. The Intramural Sports program employs over 100 students annually.
The Intramural Sports Department continually accepts applications for student employees and practicums. All interested parties should submit an application, resume, and three references to the Campus Recreation office in the ARC. Students need no prior officiating or intramural experience; just a love for sports and a willingness to learn. Rules and mechanics for each sport are learned through participation in various officials' training sessions.
Applicants may also submit materials via e-mail to email@example.com.
