All participants must understand there are risks, hazards and dangers associated with Outdoor Adventure Programs. Prior to participating, all participants are required to sign “Assumption of Risk/Release”. Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign this form.
Due at time of registration to secure participation. Cash, Check, credit card and Rock Dollars accepted.
Some Outdoor Adventure programs require participants attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting.
By nature most outdoor adventure programs are physically and psychologically demanding. Our program design and leadership techniques greatly minimize the risk involved, however, it is important to know that all adventure programs have inherent risk that cannot be eliminated. Most of our programs require no prior experience and focus on basic skills and techniques in each activity area.
Programs are available to SRU Students, Faculty, Staff, Recreation Center Members and the Slippery Rock Community.
Youth ages 14-17 are permitted on outdoor adventure programs with parent/guardian accompaniment. Youth and guardian must register for youth to participate.
Refunds will only be issued to registrants who request a refund 2 weeks prior to registration deadline. A refund may be given after this time if a replacement can be secured from the trip’s waiting list. If cancelled by Outdoor Adventures, full refunds will be issued as soon as possible.
