Aquatic Programs:
Registration deadline is the Thursday before the start of the class. Advanced registration and payment required. Private Lessons conducted by outside instructors are prohibited. Summer aquatic programs will not be conducted the week of July 1-4 due to the Independence Day holiday.

Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 Aquatic Programs

Aquatic Programs:

Arthritis Stretch Class: Participants engage in the use of gentle movements to help increase range of motion while decreasing stiffness and pain.

Private Lessons: Campus Recreation offers a variety of private lessons for youth and adult by appointment only.  Each lesson is 30 minutes.

Strokes/Starts/Turns Clinics (Ages 8+): Weekly preseason clinics will be conducted in conjunction with the start of the swim season. Concentration will be strokes, starts, and turns.
Sessions/Semesters: Fall 9/7, 14,28; 10/12

Swim Instructions (Ages 13 and up): This program is designed for teens and adults interested in improving their swimming skills. Each lesson is 30 minutes.

Youth Swim Instructions (Ages 3-12): Skill level determined at first class. 
Academic year: 4 week sessions
Levels 1 Intro to Water Skills-
Helps develop positive attitudes, good swimming habits, and safe practices around the water.
Level 2 Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills-
Gives success with fundamental skills.  Learn to float and recover to a vertical position.
Level 3 Stroke Development-
Builds on skills from Level 2 and develops strokes through additional guided practice in deeper water.  
Academic Year Sessions: August 27-December 4, January 28-May 1

Time: 5-6:00 p.m.
Saturday Academic Year Sessions: April 5-26
Days: Saturdays
Time: 11 a.m.-noon
Member Fee: $30/Session

Play is prohibited at the MAC (McFarland Recreational Sports Complex) when the RED FLAG is flying. The MAC will be closed from December 1-March 1.

Notice:
When the University is on a 2 hour delay due to weather, the ARC will not open up until 8:00 a.m..
