 Intramural Sports 



Program Eligibility
SRU Students: All currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students who are in good standing are eligible to participate in IM Sports.

Faculty/Staff: Only faculty/staff that have a current membership to the ARC, that spans the entire sport season, are eligible to participate in IM Sports.

First Come, First Serve
     1. Each individual participant must create an account in IMLeagues., login using SRU ID and password.
     2. Team captain must form a team in IMLeagues that meets the
roster requirement before registering.
     3. Team captain prints out roster from IMLeagues.
     4. Team captain registers in ARC office 118 with team fee and roster.
     5. At the time of registration the team captain will register the team
         for a 
specific team league/block.

Teams are officially registered for play after team captain pays the team fee and presents a team roster in ARC office 118.

Registration CLOSES at 7 pm on the registration deadline. 


Inherent Risk
Each participant must understand that there are risks, hazards and dangers inherent in Intramural Sport participation. 
Each participant (as part of the IMLeagues registration process) is required to agree to a liability/waiver statement. 

ID Policy
ALL participants (SRU Faculty/Staff included) must show a valid SRU ID card prior to the start of each contest. 
ARC Access: Students SRU ID required
Valid Faculty/Staff Members - ARC membership Key Tag required
Fraudulent use of an SRU ID Card will result in suspension from IM Sports and/or SRU Code of Conduct sanctions.

Women’s (W): Women’s leagues are available to any eligible female participants.  Men are not eligible to participate in women’s leagues.
Men’s (M): Men’s leagues are available to any eligible male participants.  Women are eligible to participate in men’s league, if a women’s league is not offered or if they would prefer to participate in the men’s league.  If a woman participates in a men’s league they are not permitted to participate in a women’s league.
Co-Rec (CR):- Co-Rec leagues are available to both male and female eligible participants.  Each sport offering a Co-Rec league will have set co-rec modifications and male/female gender ratio requirements to register and play.
Open (O): Open leagues are available to eligible male or female participants. Each sport offering an Open league will not require a set male/female gender ratio requirement; teams may consist of all males, all females, or any combination of the two.

Competition Levels
Mug League: Competitive: Competitive (MUG) leagues offer competition between teams of mostly skilled players.  The primary goal of participants should be to have fun while playing against competitors of comparable and competitive skill levels. 
Champions will receive the IM Champion Mug.
T-Shirt League: - Recreational: Regular (T-Shirt) leagues offer competition between teams comprised of the casual competitor and novice.  Skill at the specific sport is not required.  The primary goals of the participants should be to have fun and be physically active.  Champions will receive the IM Champion T-Shirt.

All TEAM Leagues & Tournaments - $45 per team
**INDIVIDUAL  Tournaments- $5 per player

Indoor IM Sports are held in The Aebersold Student Recreation Center (ARC)
Outdoor IM Sports are held at The McFarland Recreational Sports Complex (The MAC)

ARC Academic Year Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 6am - 11pm
Fri: 6am - 9pm
Sat: 9am - 9pm
Sun: Noon - 9pm

Play is prohibited at the MAC (McFarland Recreational Sports Complex) when the RED FLAG is flying. The MAC will be closed from December 1-March 1.

When the University is on a 2 hour delay due to weather, the ARC will not open up until 10:00 a.m..
