The First-Year Leader Scholar Program (FLSP) is a leadership development program for first-year students of Slippery Rock University.  The program jumpstarts students in the Compass Leadership Program and is a great way for new students to get involved in the clubs and organizations SRU has to offer. 

In graduating from FLSP, students will have completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Compass Leadership Program by the conclusion of their first year attending SRU. 

The selection process for FLSP participants includes an application and interview after which 80 students are selected. FLSP Applications are available here on the website as well as through the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership at the beginning of each school year.
