The Office of Conference Services plans and implements events to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.  Conference Services provides SRU facilities, staff and resources to assure efficient and cost effective conferences, camps, meetings, training programs, or any other event.
More than 45,000 people take advantage each year of the excellent camp and conference facilities at the University.  With housing for 2,300 on campus and banquet rooms that can seat from 20 to 1,000, arrangements can be made for almost any size group.  Slippery Rock University has carpeted meeting rooms and nine auditoriums.  When combined with the classroom space, gymnasiums, practice fields, and the remainder of the campus, the University offers a totally self-contained resource for most programs.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Conference Services is to provide a welcoming environment, dynamic facilities and quality customer service to each event.  A commitment to excellence, professionalism, high standards and attention to detail will assure an enjoyable and positive experience.
The expectation is that all of the camps will generate revenue that can be used to provide athletic scholarships.  All participants will be served in an environment of equality, dignity and mutual respect.  In pursuit of this mission, we seek to:
        Provide excellent customer service to camp/conference directors in the areas
      of overnight accommodations, food service, field and facility requirements, 
      and technology needs;
        Work cooperatively with University constituents in addition to external
      suppliers;
        Assist Slippery Rock University Sport Camp Directors with marketing,
      advertising, registration and fiscal management; and
        Utilize public relations tools to promote and market the campus facilities to 
      both internal and external groups.
