 Bridge Project

As a part of Slippery Rock University’s Women’s Center, the Bridge Project recognizes the need to educate the community about what interpersonal violence looks like and how each of us has a role in changing the culture to make our community safer for everyone.
Mission Statement
As a part of the SRU Women’s Center the Bridge Project strives to:
Challenge society’s perceptions of gender roles and stereotypes that support a culture of violence.
Provide a frame work for the campus community to identify unhealthy social behaviors and address how to change those to healthy behaviors.
Develop appropriate response to crimes of violence on campus. Provide support services to those who have experienced violence.
