We are excited to announce a live cooking session for faculty and staff via zoom with the Colombian chef Laura Jaramillo! Laura Jaramillo has been a Colombian chef and cooking teacher for 20 years. She is the owner of the restaurant MERCADO MUNICIPAL in Villa de Leyva, Colombia, and is inspired by the concept of farm to table cooking. She designs, teaches, and cooks food that promotes a circular economy, soil regeneration, secures biodiversity, and rescues local tradition. In her own words: “My cooking brings together all the Rosas, Marias and every woman and man that work the fields, harvest the crops and have dedicated their lives to feeding Colombia’s tables”.
