SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University Highmark Blue Shield members are now able to take advantage of free identification protection through AllClear ID.

AllClear's "Identity Repair," offers a number of advantages for those choosing to take advantage of the service, including:

  • No need to sign up: Members currently have automatic access to the service, which began Jan. 1.
  • Protection everywhere: Member ID is guarded when shopping, banking or handling other tasks online.
  • ID theft assistance: If you become a victim of identity theft, AllClear ID will help members remedy the problem by simply calling 855.229.0079.

Additional free protection is available through AllClear ID's credit monitoring system. With this service, members receive: alerts when banks and creditors use your identity to open new accounts; $1 million in identity theft insurance; and, child identity protection for eligible members under 18 years old.
