SRU’s online master’s degrees in elementary education ranked nationally

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University has been ranked fifth in TheBestColleges.org's "Top 25 Online Master's in Elementary Education for 2018."

To determine the best online master's in elementary education programs, TheBestColleges looked at admissions, student loan default, retention and graduation rates, the percent of students enrolled in online classes and median starting salaries for graduates.

All data points were collected by the National Center for Education Statistics, part of the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences that collects, analyzes and publishes statistics on education.

Of the 25 schools ranked, SRU earned high marks for its two online options: K-12 reading specialist and K-8 math and science instruction.
