Travel & International Experiences

The international exchange programs with University of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland and Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia give our students a great opportunity to experience education, art and culture oversees.

Every semester students have an opportunity to travel within the US to visit museums, galleries and art conferences. Every spring break groups of students travel oversees to France, Italy, Greece, U.K., Spain, Netherlands, and Peru in the past years.

Study Abroad

Students have an opportunity to spend one semester studying among international students and experience different education system, different studios, as well as travels within Europe.

The SRU Office of Global Engagement helps with all necessary arrangements.

Educational Travel

Every semester students in the Art Department have an opportunity to travel over the weekend to main cities in the North East and Mid-West area, such as New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, Detroit and more. Field trips are organized by the faculty members.

Every spring break groups of students travel oversees to France, Italy, Greece, U.K., Spain, Netherlands, and Peru in the past years. Trips are organized by art faculty and focus on visiting museums and architectural landmarks.
