SLAB is a student-run and award-winning literary magazine that has won national recognition. Students work with emerging and already established writers from throughout the U.S. and internationally. Recently, the magazine won the National Program Director's Prize from the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. Each year student leaders showcase the magazine at the AWP creative writing conference in urban areas like Chicago, Seattle, New York, and Washington, D.C. Students may also learn how to create and publish sound and oral history projects.
