MU PHI EPSILON
The Delta Mu chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon is an international music honors fraternity. We are a fraternity that is composed of students in any music major or minor. We engage in performance, professional development, and service, such as playing at The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, cleaning litter off the streets of SRU, and providing entertainment to families at The Ronald McDonald House. Students must have completed their first semester freshman year to be initiated. Our dream is to keep expanding our fraternity so that we can reach out and help as many of our fellow human beings as possible with the musical talent with which we have all been gifted.

PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGIATE MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION (PCMEA)
Students interested in developing as a music educator or supporter of music education can become a member of the SRU chapter of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association. The mission for SRU's chapter of PCMEA is to make available to members opportunities for professional development, acquaint students with the privileges and responsibilities of the Music Education profession, and to provide opportunities to become acquainted with leaders in the music education profession. PCMEA meets on a monthly basis in the Swope Music Building for clinics/seminars by outstanding professionals from diverse backgrounds in the various disciplines of music education and also holds community-building, service, and social events. One of the largest professional development opportunities as a member of PCMEA is the Pennsylvania Music Educators Conference.

MUSIC THERAPY CLUB AT SRU
The Music Therapy Club at Slippery Rock University is a completely student-run organization that is open to all majors on campus. The main goal of the club is to advocate for the music therapy profession and to educate the Slippery Rock community on the benefits of this branch of health care. Our club also holds social events within our club as well as other music therapy clubs close to our school. Along with social events and advocating, we hold fundraising events to raise money so that we can send as many students as possible to the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Music Therapy Association Conference in the spring, where students can go to various workshops given by fellow colleagues and professionals in the field. We also hold benefit concerts to raise money for non-profit organizations.

WINTER GUARD
The Slippery Rock University Winter Guard brings is a performing ensemble that brings the art of color guard presented in the Fall Marching Pride to a smaller setting that is facilitated indoors. Having grown in both size and prestige, developing a regional reputation for excellence in the visual and marching arts, the Slippery Rock University Winter Guard provides opportunities to enhance skill levels and augment performance opportunities for all participants. The Slippery Rock University Winter Guard represents the university and its alumni while recruiting high school graduates into not only the Marching Pride, but also the wider university.
