Service Learning Integrated into Curriculum

Almost every course has a service-learning component so that you can learn by doing. By experiencing how to do the health profession in a practical setting, students gain knowledge, skills and abilities so that they are job ready!

  • 800 hours of hands-on experiences
  • Service-Learning with:
    • Veterans
    • Older Adults
    • Children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
    • Individuals with intellectual disabilities
    • Mental Health
    • Visual Impairments/Blindness
    • Individuals with physical disabilities
  • Delivered in CTRS-supervised clinical labs on campus.
  • Opportunity to learn at our state-of-the-art Storm Harbor Equestrian Center.
  • Prestigious internships (students complete a 560-hour internship prior to graduating).
  • Students are ready for the workforce upon graduation!
