We are excited for you to become part of the Slippery Rock University family. Utilize the checklist below to ensure your transition to SRU is seamless. We can't wait to see you on campus this fall.

December 2023 and forward
- FAFSA opens in December: SRU's school code is 003327.
January - February
- Join us for Admitted Students Day and/or a Faculty Information Session.
- Ready to commit to SRU? Fill out your Reply to Offer form in your SRU application portal which will enable you to submit your $90 enrollment deposit. Once you submit your $90 enrollment deposit, within two business days you will receive your SRU username and temporary password via email. After you deposit, check your SRU email regularly. Future emails about Housing and Orientation will be sent to your SRU email address.
April
- Complete your Health History form and return it to Student Health Services before May 15.
- Check your SRU email regularly! After depositing, all future communication will go to your SRU email address.
By May 15
- May 15 is National College Decision Day. In order to commit to SRU, fill out your Reply to Offer form in your SRU application portal which will enable you to submit your $90 enrollment deposit. Once you submit your $90 enrollment deposit, within two business days you will receive your SRU username and temporary password via email. After you deposit, check your SRU email regularly. June-July
- After you deposit, check your SRU email regularly. Future emails about Housing and Orientation will be sent to your SRU email address.
- Have your school counselor send a final high school transcript to the Admissions Office.
- Verify your incoming credits (from AP exams, IB Exams, A-Level exams, or Dual Enrollment) by sending a transcript for any college credits you earned to Transfer Admissions at transferadmissions@sru.edu
- Start shopping for your SRU gear online. The SGA Bookstore offers a variety of apparel, books, gifts, and more!
August
- Be a part of Week of Welcome and WOW move-in (information will be mailed to you).
- Use the #sruWOW hashtag and look forward to starting the fall semester at the end of August!
