The Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) works to recognize and value the range of human differences, ensuring fairness and justice in the distribution of resources and opportunities, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where all members of the community can fully participate while fostering a sense of connection and acceptance within the campus community.

Our mission is to work to collaboratively with university constituents to cultivate a welcoming environment for all individuals. We celebrate and honor all intersecting identities through civic engagement, comprehensive trainings, and diverse academic initiatives. We are dedicated to the implementation of policies and the use of best practices that explore multicultural and social competencies while placing innovation, inclusion, and belonging at the forefront. We strive to be agents of change that propels campus culture into an inclusive and diverse learning environment for all.
