SRU Performing Arts Series presents John Ford Coley

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Singer, musician, actor and author John Ford Coley - best known as one half of the Grammy-nominated 70s pop music duo, England Dan & John Ford Coley - will perform at Slippery Rock University's University Union at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 3.
England Dan and John Ford Coley posted six Top 40 singles between 1976 and 1979. Among their hits were "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" (1976); "Nights Are Forever Without You" (1976); "It's Sad to Belong" (1977); "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" (1978); and "Love Is the Answer" (1979).
The pair released eight albums, achieving gold and triple-platinum status along the way.
Coley's solo act, which features the duo's classic hits, has been described as "nostalgic and uplifting."
Tickets for the performance are priced at: $20 for adults; $18 for seniors (62 and older); $16 for youth (17 and younger); and $8 for SRU students.
