SRU named one of the nation’s top business schools

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University has been named one of the top 50 schools in the nation for business according to study.com.

SRU, ranked No. 29, was one of two schools from Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education that earned a spot on the list, joining West Chester University.

Study.com compiled its list "to provide information on the best schools in the nation for earning a business degree." According to the website, the ranked institutions offer both robust programs and numerous opportunities to engage in learning outside of the classroom.

To select the schools on the list, study.com considered several factors including data provided by the U.S. Department of Education, business concentration options and faculty experience. The website also evaluated each schools real-world experience opportunities and opportunities to interact with business professionals or alumni working in the business world.
