Melissa Teodoro, Slippery Rock University associate professor of dance, paired with Barbara Westman, SRU associate professor of printmaking and fiber art, for an interdisciplinary collaboration Feb. 6 at the Martha Gault Art Gallery. Students from Teodoro's dance class were charged with creating compositions of movement based on their interpretations of Westman's "Color on White" exhibit. Westman's work - paper with painted cutout shapes with each composition enclosed inside a 16-inch by 20-inch frame - consists of her recollections, memories and observations, brushed into radiant colors and offset by a signature white background.
