SRU ranked among Pennsylvania’s Top 25 business schools

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University has been ranked among Pennsylvania's Top 25 Business Schools by Top Management Degrees.

SRU's bachelor of science in business administration degree trains students in the areas of: accounting, economics, finance, information systems, health care administration and management, management and marketing.

From a pool of 115 state-based business schools, TMD narrowed its list down to the Top 25 based on four factors:

-Accreditation: Programs were identified for their accreditation by one of the six regional accrediting organizations recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Schools received higher rankings for an additional third-party business accreditation from one of the top business school accrediting agencies.

-Affordability: Schools' average undergraduate tuition and fees were evaluated and reported by the National Center for Education Statistics to determine affordable four-year enrollment.

-Average alumni salary: Each institution's average early-career salary, reported by their recent bachelor degree graduates, was collected from PayScale's College Salary Report to identify a university's long-term benefits.

-Prestige: Data was collected from U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review, two of the most highly regarded educational ranking sources, to determine their value rankings amongst prestigious third parties.

SRU was also lauded for its recommendation by the Princeton Review as a "Best Northeastern College" and for having the second lowest tuition rate among the Top 25.

TMD noted that SRU's business program is "...centered around the core values of professional proficiency, critical thinking and problem solving, communication skills, information technology and ethics, these skills are translated into every aspect of the program to help ensure student success both in academics and future career endeavors."
