SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -Slippery Rock University's master's degree in health informatics, which was recognized earlier this year as one of the nation's top 50 master's degrees by bestcollege.com, can take another bow. The program was just selected as one of the country's "Best Online Health Informatics Programs for 2018" by OnlineMasters.com.

OnlineMasters.com is a research organization specializing in education and based its rankings on four key areas:
• Program flexibility
• Graduate outcomes
• Affordability
• Curriculum quality

Rankings were determined by information gathered from surveys and interviews from current students and alumni, managers from key clinics and hospitals, and health industry experts. Additional information used was culled from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and the National Center for Education Statistics.

Only accredited nonprofit institutions were considered for selection.
