BY THE NUMBERS

Sixth and seventh-grade gifted education students from Slippery Rock Middle School visited with members of the Math Club at Slippery Rock University Nov. 22. The Math Club extended the invitation as part of a community service project and to promote the University and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Visiting students took part in various mathematical exercises and activities, as well as a discussion on pursuing math and statistics in higher education.
