Hoffmaster named Fightin Phils assistant GM

Matt Hoffmaster, a 2007 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in sport management, was named assistant general manager of the Reading Fightin Phils, a minor league baseball affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Hoffmaster, who will enter his 14th season with the Fightin Phils in 2019, was previously the team's executive director of operations. He served in several roles with the team, including the mascot, since joining the organization as an intern in 2005.
