Molly Mercer, Slippery Rock University associate vice president for finance, recently chaired the Grove City Rotary Club's ethics symposium. The event was attended by 180 local high school students.

The program, using guidelines followed by Rotarians around the world to make ethical decisions, encouraged students to think about their decisions and how the choices they make can impact their lives and the lives of others. The event also provided students an opportunity to pursue a Rotary scholarship by writing short essays reflecting on the discussions.

Rotary International is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations and helps build goodwill and world peace.
