Slippery Rock University received a $5,000 supplemental grant from DREAM Partnership to fund the University's Rock Life Program, a post-secondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities.

SRU has received funding from DREAM Partnership, which provides start-up funding for colleges and universities in Pennsylvania to establish programs similar to Rock Life, totaling more than $120,000 the past three years.

Currently, there are 12 students with intellectual or developmental disabilities taking classes at SRU through the Rock Life program. Rock Life students do not earn college credit but they benefit from the college experience as a path to competitive employment and lifelong wellness.
