Slippery Rock University's Sustainable Enterprise Accelerator was recently accepted as a founding member of the IdeaGist Emerging Technology Accelerators program, providing SEA students and clients access to emerging technology experts from around the world.

SEA is a University-owned, student-run business consultation firm that helps entrepreneurs start sustainable businesses and helps established businesses grow with sustainability in mind. Through a partnership with IdeaGist, SEA will have access to an online community platform where member organizations can offer patents and share expertise in multiple areas and work on projects involving technologies such as 3D printing, alternative energy, artificial intelligence and robotics.

IdeaGist, which is a company that provides the world's largest digital incubation platform, plans to have 100 organizations join the ETA initiative by the end of the year.
