Jessie Rack, a 2010 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in biology, was selected as an IF/THEN Ambassador by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Lyda Hill Philanthropies.

Rack was one of 125 women innovators from across the United States selected by AAAS for the program that recognizes women innovators in science, technology, engineering and math who serve as role models for middle school girls.

Rack is the coordinator of the University of Arizona's Supporting Environmental Education and Communities program, which is an initiative within UA's Community and School Garden program that helps K-12 classes participate in meaningful environmental research by working with UA students.
