Slippery Rock University's Jason Hilton, associate professor of secondary education and foundations of education, and James Preston, assistant professor of elementary education, have been named co-editors of Pennsylvania Teacher Educator, a peer-reviewed print journal published annually for members of the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators.

PTE serves as a forum for the open exchange of ideas, research and information related to the advancement of teacher education at all levels. PAC-TE is a nonprofit professional association for people in Pennsylvania engaged in the preparation and development of professional educators, with nearly 400 members representing 75 colleges and universities.

The journal is housed in the SRU College of Education.
