Sexual Misconduct and Title IX Resources

In accordance with Title IX, Campus SaVE and VAWA, Slippery Rock University has dedicated a section of the student code of conduct to acts of sexual misconduct including sexual assault, rape, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.

SRU is committed to fostering an environment free from the threat of sexual misconduct, which includes sexual assault, rape, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, while actively responding to the needs of those affected by sexual misconduct.

All students, faculty and staff members are encouraged to report offenses of sexual misconduct and seek redress. All reports of sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual assault, should be made to Karla Fonner, Title IX coordinator, 724.738.2953 or karla.fonner@sru.edu or through the filing a CARE report. CARE reports may be made anonymously.

Sexual assault is never the fault of the victim. Every person at SRU should know that the University will treat reports of sexual misconduct with the utmost seriousness and know that the process will respect the integrity of all.
