Volunteering

Need hours for a class or community service?

No horse experience necessary! Come volunteer and work one on one with our horses and trained staff to learn the basics about how to help run our program. We work with children and adults with disabilities and there is a lot to be done in order for our program to run smoothly each week!

Our programs and lessons can only be successful with the help of volunteers! Volunteers with and without horse experience can assist in many ways throughout the week.

Volunteers are needed during lessons to lead and sidewalk, and also to do daily barn or office chores such as sweeping, cleaning tack, grooming horses, mucking stalls, paperwork, etc. For special events, volunteers may also assist with arts and crafts or games.

Before volunteering, you must complete a set of Volunteer Forms for liability and safety reasons. You must also complete a volunteer training prior to volunteering. Please call us to schedule a volunteer orientation with one of our graduate assistants.
