The English Department's local chapter of Sigma Tau Delta is over 80 years old and continues to be extremely active. Students present work at the national convention, and have traveled to cities like Minneapolis, Portland, and Louisville to share scholarly and creative work with their peers.
The Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society provides unique opportunities for students to showcase their work through presentation and publication. Sigma Tau Delta hosts an annual international convention, to be held in 2018 in Cincinnati, and maintains two journals for critical and creative writing. Moreover, our chapter offers members the chance to interact meaningfully with their colleagues through events both within the university community and beyond it.
