SRU criminal justice graduate program ranked in “Top 25"

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's master of arts in criminal justice has been ranked among the Top 25 Online Master's in Criminal Justice Programs nationally by GoGrad.org.

"Our organization analyzed data from hundreds of colleges across the nation in order to develop our rankings," said Ryan Kelly, chief communications officer for GoGrad.org. "I am pleased to offer my congratulations to Slippery Rock University for offering the most notable combination of academic quality, accommodation, guidance and affordability.

Institutions considered for GoGrad's list were ranked based on:

• Number of online graduate degrees available in related subject area


• Tuition


• Availability of academic & career counseling services


• Availability of job placement services


Based on those criteria, SRU earned a composite score of 90.65 on a 100-point scale.

SRU recently added to its portfolio of programs in the criminology and criminal justice area. Beginning in fall 2016 the University will offer a bachelor of science in homeland security and a bachelor of science in corporate security.
