SHOT AND A GOAL(BALL)

Slippery Rock University played host to the Third Annual Collegiate Goalball Tournament April 28-29. Goalball is Paralympic team sport for blind and visually impaired athletes. Ten teams representing eight institutions took part in the event that saw SRU defeat Portland State University in the title game. Other universities taking part included: West Chester, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Edinboro, Towson, SUNY Brockport and SUNY Cortland.
