MAKING (USB) CONNECTIONS

Spencer Upton and Kyleigh Hyduchak

Spencer Upton, a psychology major from Mercer, watches as Kyleigh Hyduchak, an exploratory student from Grove City, takes advantage of a new USB-enabled electrical outlet at Bailey Library. Twenty such outlets have been installed, which will allow library users to charge their laptops, smart phones and other devices without an AC adapter. All USB-enabled outlets are stationed near the second-floor window seats, facing the SRU waterfall. Another 30 regular outlets have been built into new study stations near the recently renovated seating areas. Charging cords that can be checked out for in-library use are available at the first and second floor service desks.
