Three Slippery Rock University professors and one alum were coauthors of an article published in the Journal of Environmental Health, which is a journal from the National Environmental Health Association.

Alexander Ufelle, an SRU associate professor of public health and social work, was the lead author, working alongside Kimberly Forrest, professor of public health and social work, as well as Timothy Smith, professor of physical therapy, and Hebist Asfaw, a 2018 SRU graduate with a degree in business administration.

Their article titled, “Health Effects and Factors Affecting Formaldehyde Exposure Among Students in a Cadaver Laboratory” was featured in JEH’s January/February 2022 e-journal.
