Ashman named athletics executive at University of Memphis

Lauren Ashman, a 2004 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in sport management, was recently hired as the executive associate athletics director/senior woman administrator at the University of Memphis.

In her role, Ashman helps lead all aspects of the UM athletic department and its 18 varsity sports teams that compete in NCAA Division I. Prior to joining Memphis, Ashman was senior associate athletics director/Title IX deputy coordinator/SWA at Bowling Green State University.
