Neeley publishes new novel, "The Street Singer"

Kathleen Neeley, a 1994 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in elementary education, has published her novel, "The Street Singer."

The book centers on a law school student who befriends a once-famous recording artist who has become poverty stricken and turned to singing on the streets.

Neeley, who resides in Greenville, South Carolina, is a retired teacher and school administrator. She has another novel, "The Least of These," which won first place in the 2015 Fresh Voices contest by Almost an Author that is scheduled to be released in May.
