Mike Kuzar, a 2013 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in park and resource management, was named manager of Washington Crossing Historic Park by Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

In his new role, Kuzar oversees the 500-acre park that preserves the site of George Washington’s dramatic boat crossing of the Delaware River during the American Revolution, which is a National Historic Landmark. The scenic park includes historic buildings, walking paths, picnic pavilions, venues for educational programs and special events, and more.

A former National Park Service seasonal ranger, Kuzar was most recently an assistant manager at the DCNR’s French Creek State Park Complex.
