Ballew elected Mathematical Association of America officer

Joshua Ballew, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of mathematics and statistics, was elected second vice-chair of the Allegheny Mountain Section of the Mathematical Association of America.

In his role, Ballew will attend three executive meetings per year and serve on committees on behalf of the section and help host the section's annual meeting. The MAA AlleMo Section is a professional association serving mathematicians in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
