Jackson recognized for service by NCPEID

Dallas Jackson, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of physical and health education, received the William A. Hillman Distinguished Service Award at the 2021 National Consortium for Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities. Jackson, who served as NCPEID president from 2018-20, received the award which recognizes individuals who have shown exemplary service and contribution to the field of adapted physical education or activity.


The NCPEID is a national organization with a mission to “promote, stimulate and encourage legislative mandates, professional preparation, advocacy and research in physical activity, physical education and recreation for individuals for disabilities.”
