Options Appointments
The first step to receiving birth control through Student Health Services, if you have never used birth control, is to schedule an Options appointment. The Options appointment will provide you with information on what form of birth control is available, the cost associated, how to effectively use the form of birth control you are interested in, what risk and benefits are associated, and how to access various birth control methods. It will also address any other questions or concerns you may have.
It is mandatory if you are interested in receiving birth control through Student Health Services, if you have never taken birth control before. If you have been on birth control before, and need to renew or begin a prescription through Student Health Services, please call 724-738-2052 and schedule an appointment with a Nurse Practitioner.
The appointments are individually-based. However, you are more than welcome to bring a friend, partner or any other support you would like. If you are interested in scheduling an Options appointment, use this booking link.
