HOPE Peer Education programs are available to all student groups, organizations, Residence Life, Greek Life, FYRST Seminar and academic classes. HOPE programs focus on personal development as a learning outcome. These are issue oriented programs for students by students.

Beers, Cheers, and Fears
This highly informative program will describe effects of alcohol on the body, harm reduction, standard drink sizes and intervention skills. Students will be provided with important referral sources for alcohol-related situations and will address issues students face in choosing to use alcohol.
This interactive program uses a game show format to relay important facts about alcohol, drugs, sexually transmitted infections and other health issues. The audience is split into teams to compete for the highest score.
Sex, Drugs, and Pop Culture
This program uses a jeopardy-like format to pass important information to the audience. Various health issues are addressed along with pop-culture trivia.
Energy for College Life
Living the life of a college student requires that the body is fueled with plenty of nutritious food and sleep. This interactive program explores the nutritional status of college students and provides healthier eating tips. These eating tips consists of but, are not limited to, portion sizes, practicing time management skills, and making healthier decisions when dining out, or in the dining halls.
Wellness 101 provides students with basic details on how to lead a healthy lifestyle. This program covers all aspects of college health such as: washing your hands, sneezing in your sleeve, alcohol, antibiotic resistance and general information about services provided through Student Health Services.
Don't let stress get the best of you! Learn the symptoms of both types of stress, plus easy and economical ways for college students to reduce stress in everyday life. Participants will feel more relaxed when they walk out the door.
Sexually transmitted infections are spread more easily than most students think. Learn about Hepatitis, HPV, Herpes, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis and more in this informative discussion. This interactive program will allow students to understand and examine the importance of safer sex practices, before having to make those decisions.
