Amerson published in the Journal of the West

Delanie Amerson, a 2021 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in history, wrote an article that was published in the Journal of the West, which is an academic journal dedicated to covering history and culture of the American West.

Her article, titled “My Homeland Is Filled with Ghosts: A History of the Yahi Tribe of California,” provides an accurate history of the Yahi Native American people, including their lives before white settlers, political structures and other cultural aspects.
