Micsky presents webinar and keynote workshops on burnout and compassion fatigue

Tami Micsky, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of public health and social work, recently conducted a webinar and two keynote presentations for various organizations. She presented a webinar titled “Professional Satisfaction for Therapists: Coping with Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, Secondary and Vicarious Trauma” for GoodTherapy.org, an online resource for people accessing mental health services.

She also provided keynote workshops for Jefferson Community and Technical College in Kentucky and Los Angeles Southwest College in California titled, “Wellness in Higher Education: Coping with Loss, Burnout, and Compassion Fatigue,” as part of professional development offerings at both institutions.
