Colleen Cooke, a Slippery Rock University professor of parks, conservation and recreational therapy, recently received The Red Nose Award from the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor at the AATH's annual conference in Chicago.

The Red Nose Award recognizes extraordinary volunteer service to the AATH mission to study, practice and support healthy humor. Cooke, a Certified Humor Professional, has presented humor programs, classes and workshops for faculty, staff and students at SRU and has helped lead the Humor Academy at the AATH conference by mentoring colleagues pursuing their CHP credential.

The AATH is a nonprofit community of professionals and laughter enthusiasts who value humor in their daily lives.
