Polka receives U.S. patent for physical therapy system

 Rhett Polka, a 2000 Slippery Rock University graduate with a doctoral degree in physical therapy, was issued a U.S. patent for The One80 System, a physical therapy system that he developed.

Polka is the owner of One80 Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinic based in Loveland, Colorado. He and his team of doctors have been using the One80 System to treat professional, collegiate and Olympic athletes, including NFL players, CrossFit world champions and members of the Radio City Rockettes.

The One80 System is a unique patient evaluation tool and treatment strategy based on human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.
