Junko Yamamoto, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of secondary education/foundations of education, presented a session at the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages 2021 virtual convention.

Yamamoto’s session, titled “Animated Storytelling with Coding,” showed how language learners can publish their presentational writing or speaking as a coded animation, allowing them to read commands in their target languages and publish their own animated stories. Yamamoto showed samples for Latin, Japanese and Chinese languages.
