Symposium for Student Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity

2024 SYMPOSIUM FOR STUDENT RESEARCH, SCHOLARSHIP, AND CREATIVE ACITIVITY

The Symposium for Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity is traditionally a single-day event that is designed to showcase undergraduate and graduate student work. The Symposium will be a face-to-face event this year. More details will be provided to students and mentors after the abstract submission process is complete.

Students from all academic fields are eligible to participate, along with a faculty or staff sponsor. Students are asked to provide a 300-word abstract/summary describing the project. Abstracts must be reviewed and approved by the sponsor before being submitted. Authors of these abstracts will have the choice of creating a poster, making a 10-15 minute oral presentation, or creating an art exhibit, demonstration, or music, dance, or spoken word performance.

Monday, February 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. is the deadline for submissions of SRU Symposium Abstracts. The Symposium Abstract Form will be available on CORE. These guidelines will assist you in writing your abstract.

Students and faculty sponsors receive a notification if their submission was accepted after all submissions are received and reviewed.
