What Will You Learn?

Through classes in Sociology, Psychology, and Social Policy, you will develop the skills necessary to excel in future practice with individuals, group work, community organizing, agency leadership, and management, and social policy.
Careers In Social Work
As profession with strong growth projections, social workers enjoy employment in a wide variety of settings. A social worker's clients may range from the youngest member of a family to those in hospice care settings. Veterans' service organizations, adoption agencies, domestic violence programs, drug and alcohol agencies, and private industry, among so many others, are all areas where social workers practice.
