Slippery Rock University was ranked 29th and 20th, respectively, on University Headquarters’ rankings of the Best Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Pennsylvania.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University was recognized in University Headquarters' 2022 Pennsylvania College Guide in its rankings of the Best Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Pennsylvania.

The University HQ evaluators ranked SRU 29th in the state for its bachelor's degrees and 20th for its master's programs, each placing SRU as the second-highest ranked school in Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education.

Additionally, SRU joined Penn State University, the University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University on the UHQ list of four schools recognized as the Best Pennsylvania Schools for Information Science.

University HQ is an online resource that provides career guides for collegebound students by providing "comprehensive information about career paths, requirements, universities, scholarships and news about new programs." Rankings are determined by factors that include cost of tuition, admission and retention rates, salaries of graduates, programs offered, financial aid and student loan default rates.
